An all ladies group went to watch this movie. Were we a group of desperate housewives? Did we want to have some unrestricted fun minus our spouses and kids? All of us had different reasons to watch this movie, not with their husband but with friends. In my case it was that me and my husband had some serious differences that day, one of us thought that the movie was too objectionable to be seen with husbands, other friend just accompanied us and still another didn't watch the movie with her husband just because she had already made plans with us.
The movie was about an ambitious actress who dared to realize her dreams in the industry where women are just commodities. Commodities which are in the movies to entertain. the heroine en-cashes upon this very essence of any movie and says I AM THE ENTERTAINMENT. For once i do not hold anything against this movie, the acting was convincing, the dialogues meaningful and the story catching.
Should they show the movie on national television?
yes, no, maybe....
